I got my distributor today, soldered the obd0 connectors on, went to fire that bitch up and she was stumbling like that chick we ran a train on behind the convenience store, but she finally fired up, like that milf that had to wait until the viagra kicked in. when I get back from class I'll upload the video of the bitch running. you're running uberdata right? stock b16? i've got a .bin that run's perfect if you want to try it. no cel's, so that means your wiring should be fine, you probably just made a shitty map :P

I probably have huge injectors (690s) and all i did was take another map and type in 690 for new injector size then I let uberdata run it's magic. as my sig says I'm looking for some 450s until I figure all this ecu chipping ---- out. just so all you ghetto mofuckers out there know: d-series dizzy with leg cut off does not work on b-series vtec. so who has some cheap 450s? chris, did you get those ones at the yard?

anybody know how to shrink video file size? I just made a 1 minute 10 second vid but the file size is 25mb and I can't upload it anywhere and you guys wouldn't want to dl it. it has some pretty nasty turbo spool noises with the open dp going on, and it shows just how shitty my manfold is, it leaks on cylinder 4 right where the runner attaches to the header flange. anybody have any idea what I should do in the way of tuning? I'm completely lost. luckily I have an afc on the way, I'm going to hook that up for some fine tuning so I can make this sob driveable. I tried pulling it out of where I have it parked in my yard and I just got it stuck in the rocks, now I need to pull it out with my truck, haha.

As far as the video, to be quick and easy, use Windows Movie Maker if you have it. Its not hard to use at all and cuts down on the size of video pretty good.

I'll get some real video of me racing people suck as minivans whenever it runs decently. I should probably get a wideband, or at least an o2 sensor, but we'll just tune by guess for now, it will hone my skills. my guess at this point is it's extremely rich or extremely lean, when I get the afc I will determine which it is and go from there.
also, once it runs decently I'll throw the old wheels on front and do a burnout to finish off my old burnout wheel that is already falling apart. |

windows movie maker isn't on my computer, I got it from rx7andstarion, but I didn't get a serial number so I couldn't run it, I don't remember if I tried deleting it or not, but parts of it are still on my computer.

lol, well, i guess it has to be one or the other, chances are it's rich though. how do you plan to tell if it's rich or lean via the afc?? did they start coming out with some kind of magical wideband afc's since i last saw one ??? i want one too! and yes, if you're running no 02 sensor and have it disable via uberdata, it's gonna run like ---- unless it's already been tuned with a wideband in open loop ;) |

I bet it was in warm up fast idle and when you reved it up, it switched over to the maps and pooof, dies out. :-*

ya the first time it dies because I fucked with the idle, but yesterday and today I had it running for a while, it just doesn't want to rev very high and my tach isn't working so I can't tell you how high it's revving (and now, it's not hitting the launch control rev limit because I know it's not getting much past 3k if it even makes it that far) I plan to tell if it's rich or lean with the afc by leaning it out/ throwing more fuel on and seeing what works better, it's called trial and error, you'd know a few things about the first part of that process wouldn't you, xterra boy?

with the afc I just push buttons and bam, I have a change, with uberdata I have to walk into the garage, fire up the computer, make changes, burn the chip, fish the old chip out of my non-zif socket because my zif was too big to fit into the ecu, bend up half the legs on the chip, get mad, swear alot, throw things, put the new chip in, and see if I have magic or no. if magic then I rejoice, take off my shirt in the middle of the winter and begin swinging it around my head, the hundreds of old people who walk up and down my street everyday get nervous, they call the police, I have to explain to them why I have no muffler, I'll end up punching somebody and now I'm running through the neighborhood with police dogs on my ass. and if no then the whole process repeats.

p06 ecu doesn't have vtech type r, so I have to go without vtech type r until I get my rpm switch constructured.
