Yeah same here too. I just sizzled and then froze.

how does the drains usually goes , u think i can heat it up with a hair dryer to de-froze it?

You have to dismantle the freezer to get to the drain.......

Just pull the ---- outta the freezer into a big cooler. If you leave it shut it will stay cold for a long time.

Just put a big fan blowing onto the freezer when you defrost it to move things along.

This is really the best options homie.

just got it done.
I took everything out of the freezer, took apart the panels inside to get to the fan and condenser. Hair dryer (AKA electric turbo) full blast for half an hour and de-frozed it all lol.
once everything melted the drain works again but then i don`t see anything blocking the drain hole, which lead me to belive its will forzen up again within weeks :l .

Ours did this over and over and over. Just kept happening after a month or so. Finally just got a new fridge.

But seriously, you guys need to get fridges that dont ---- up. stop buying refridgeratrs at the swap meet. :P

i bought my ---- new 10 years ago lol
according to internet-mechanics lol, it is the auto de-foresting timer thats broken but i can`t see ---- anywhere. All i see is wires and hoses.
if it happen again I am going to tears this ---- apart

whenever my appliances stop working i go online and do a search, usually a site selling parts will have a good trouble shoot guide. i have been able to fix my ---- threw that, luckily they havent been anything major. but thats what i would check. i just google my problem and put frigde and the name brand in there, and its usually the very first website haha.
