someones gotta know. I have one of those fridge where the freezer goes on top and the regular "fridge" (whatever it should be called) goes in the bottom.
The freezer is frozing up at the wall. Fan does not blow as hard, bottom shelf does not really get cold and the compressor line in the back is NOT HOT AT ALL.
Drain pan is DRY which has never happened before.

I suppose theres a clogged drain somewhere in the fridge?? causing it to froze up. Then the ice fooled the themostat and cause the compressor not to run? lol

unplug it and let it melt 100% like overnight then plug it back in

if your lucky its as simple as a frozen line and this will fix it

Defrost it. Just get a cooler and put your food in it and leave the doors open and turn it off. My freezer needs to be defrost since the rear drain is plugged and I've glaciers forming on the bottom of the freezer because of that. I just keep taking out the ice chunks every other week. :P

buy a new fridge mr i just bought a new TV. Knock it off with your old injun ways. New fridges dont need to be defrosted....:P

Mine fucked up like that, unplugged it for 24 hours, the drain was froze up.

I wish I can let it unplugged but theres just too much dog chop in the freezer :P

how does the drains usually goes , u think i can heat it up with a hair dryer to de-froze it?
