I personally like the phone.....but if you go on Cingular's website, they offer NO insurance for the phone. So, if you break it you're fucked out of $400-$600. And you don't even get it activated through Cingular....you have to go on I-tunes to get your phone turned on once you have bought it. Cingular is just a pawn that sells the phone they do nothing for you once you have it, and will not cover any warranty work or if it breaks.

cingular wireless bought at&t wireless a while back, and now the main company at&t bought sbc (southern bell company, owner of cingular) and owns cingular, so it's at&t again...

Overall the phone is nice. Hopefully they'll come out with some good hacks for it to put games, ringtones and a bunch of other bullshit on it. Its just a matter of time before things are worked out and it really becomes usefull. Although the price of the phone could build you a complete HMT setup. Or maybe buy a crx.

You paid 600 bucks for a 2g phone. as far as I know 2gs are teh phones they give you for free that wont do tri band operation ., meaning they took an ipod and attachted the equivalent of a rotoary phone to the side. You cant change the battery on them and you have to hack the phone to install software to it because by design it dosent want to take 3rd party apps. I dunno man but hey thats what MTV told you to buy aint it?

youre an idiot. The phone is four gb. It can go on the internet anywhere,gps, stream videos and a whole lot more ----. Im on it right now driving back from the casino out in the middle of nowhere. Iphone rules, thanks mtv

No dude I mean its a second Gen phone . I know it has 4 gb and I agree with the fact that you cant upgrade it is immiterial to cause 4 is a lot.
