Just bought my long block today.. or traded it for my 2.1 liter short block. already bought mounts. next on the list is a type s trans and finish paying off the k24 block!

put the accord block in it and the ------- thing rips
havn't spoken to him in a while but the thing is fast as ---- from what i hear

a guy i work with is doing it in a EG hatch. k24 block, type s head. can't wait to see it.

you should have no problems getting cash for the tranny. just sell a few people the same thing and keep it. ;)

i have been on the prowl for a wrecked/flipped type s but only came up w/ one in my area that i could afford and it was still a little pricey. Im sure ill go k in 2-3 years once pricing goes down a little

It will be just like it is now. Staggered. Few people doing K's, few more doing B's and a bunch more doing D's.

As prices fall I am sure I will start to look at it more realisticly, but for now, still baller status.

you can do the whole swap in your car running for under 6 grand.

my budget is 7500 including K pro and a mild build.

josh, my friends red civic u seen puts down 276 whp and 185ft tq, on pump gas with 9psi of boost, stock motor with a turbo kit.

if your talking about tq and not hp then there are a few people on here with more than that on a bseries, wow pistons and rods, ---- sleeves 400whp lsvtec with own u with the tq.

If i know Josh, I'm sure he means all motaaa... of course 260 hp could be had with boost for much less, this is much more original in my opinion, and now that Honda is producing the K, and the B is dying out, it might be a better choice in the long run. Looks good Josh...

2) Since when is the B dieing out ??? In that case, D series are as worthless as A series and I should be able to get a GSR for $400 or so. Wait..

its all good, a 260 all motor car will run mid-low 11's no problem (in a 2400lb car)

260 turbo power in a 2400 lb car wont come close :-P sorry... if you say it will, youdont know your ---- at all.

I'm making my own custom 3 inch exhaust and i'm puting as many resinators as i can possibly fit. I dont want it to be that loud.

uh.

not in a 4 banger, or most at least.

turbo creates torque.

260hp 200 torque NA motor, all upper rpm power.
260hp 250 torque FI motor, power acrossed most of the rpm band

might not matter for a drag car when you're in the uppers all the time but on the street torque owns

$3800 for complete OMG JDM WTF Type-S swap, plus mounts, was my pgmfi.org hookup six months back. i-VTEC is worth half of that, maybe. That i- ---- won't come into play with a turbocar unless you bog it - whoopty doo 5 whp more in a non-performance low rpm range - and the engine moves too fast for it to mean anything in a turbo car until top of 3rd *if you're slow*. That VTEC ---- has always been worthless.

Enjoy the gearbox falling apart and good luck getting it fixed under warranty.

Eventually K series is going to be a lot cheaper. As soon as some rsx's get wrecked there will be plenty. ive been looking for a k series crv block, if i find one, ill throw a motor together.
