Default anybody know what is used for ford (lightning) engine management?

my friend bought a ford lightning that came s/c'd and now he is starting to buy alot of parts to have installed also ( he likes to go fast so he buys stuff to acomplish that, but doesnt know how to work on cars )

so i asked him about what kind of engine management is used on fords? he had no idea what i was talkin about, which now has me under the impression that his truck might not have any e.m.!! anybody on here know anything about what ford uses for aftermarket management?

(for the most part i have only worked on imports)

For future reference, all fuel injected engines have engine management.

Don't post some oddball car to prove me wrong.
