Anybody here know anything about carbs?

I should probably post this in a different section but anyways I need some help figuring out a carb. The car is a 81 Accord and the fuel pump died the other day so I went and got another as it was only 10 months old and under warranty. The pump im using is a Mr Gasket micro pump intented for import carb setups as its low pressure[2-3.5psi 42gph] and worked well for a 10months daily driving. When i went to get a replacement they only had the domestic model in stock[5-7psi 37gph] so I took that and a MR gasket pressure regulator to turn it down. That pump was defective and lasted 20 minutes.I then ordered the right one that I had been running for 10 months and put it in tonight minus regulator as i dont need it now. When you turn the key on the pump fires up and sits there filling the carb up until it pukes out all over the engine :S What the ---- causes that other then way to much volume or something?Im kinda lost i dont know much about carbs and im assuming either the pump is somehow sending way to much fuel or something has ruptured in the carb?

Edit- I think the float is stuck.

needle and seat is not sealing, too much fuel pressure, float has a leak and is filled with gas(no longer floating) or float level too high. Get a cheap ass carb kit it will come with everything for a rebuild and all the specs and adjustments ;)

make sure you can get a kit for that bitch before you rip it down, some older hondas are hard to find, blow all the ports out real good when you clean the bowl. Get the carb numbers before you try and get a kit. ;)

whats the bitch? a flat bit screwdriver, a pair of needlenose, a big crecent wrench, and something for scraping gasket is all you need to rebuild pretty much any holley.
