Re:Anybody have good info on the RHB5?
I have an ihi rhb5 on the wagon, and i ran my buddy in his mustang at 5psi, and it wasn't until 3rd gear he'd start slowing pulling away. I got full boost at 2500, and it pulls hard when it comes on. in 2wd it will break the tires loose when it spools in first.

Re:Anybody have good info on the RHB5?
Hey turbowagonman, I am going to use this turbo and was making my lines to run oil and water, but I found only 3 holes in the turbo, I asked my brother in law who sold it to me, he was going to use it on his mx-6 because his old one was bad and this one is rebuilt but sold the car, told me that it is only oil cooled, not water cooled. Is that true??, he thinks the third space is to run an oil cooler because automatic mx-6's had oil coolers. Is ithis info correct?
Thanks in advance

HMMM, that sounds strange to me. You looked on the bottom where the bearing housing is? On mine, the water inlet/outlet actually looks like some type of mount to mount the turbo. I don't think I would ever have a turbo that wasn't water cooled.

Re:Anybody have good info on the RHB5?
i had one on my stock crx si motor and dynoed 133hp and 123tq made peak power at 6100rpm the motor had 160,000 miles and it smoked before turbo. I was running 6 psi and ran 14.800 in 1/4 mile... i sold teh kit and i'm going back to the same turbo. it made 40hp and 40tq over stock motor pretty good i thought....

Re:Anybody have good info on the RHB5?
I had a friend with an 89 probe turbo that used the IHI turbo, and it is water cooled. You can start to hear it spool at about 1800rpm and hits it stock acuated 8psi at arround 2200rpm and keeps a believable 8 pounds all the way up to redline on that 2.2. I'm sure that it will sustain your 1.6
