Anybody have any info on the KKK K03

Re:Anybody have any info on the KKK K03
They did a write up on it in SCC. The ko3 runs out of air the higher the rpm. The Horsepower basicly falls flat cuz the turbo is so small. But I think if you did the 1.3 you would have HP all the way through the power band. Good choice for the car. And it is internaly gated. I got one for free once. I get to use the BOV off of a Passat.

Here's a compressor Map of the K03. This one is from the 1.8T configuration, but i think it should be similar to the S4 K03.

I dont know why people always argue about the K03. Yes, it is small, but if it can squeeze 200 hp out of an 1.8 litre Audi, it should have enough flow left for a 1.6 litre Honda. It may not be an drag strip killer, but everyday driveability should be great. I've bought an K03 for my turbo project (23k miles on it, perfect condition) and can't wait to see how it makes tourque at the lower end.

my buddy has a Jetta 1.8T with the K03 and a 2.5" turboback and he hits full boost (18psi) at about 2k rpm, its really small but should be a good fit for a 1.3L 3cyl... i think 225cfm is flow at 15psi

Have a K03 in my Peugeot 205 1400cc 8v, works great. Spools quickly, and keeps the power up the rpms.
If you break one, a new unit is cheap over here, you can buy them for 50 euro and have only done like 15-30 k miles.
The oilpressure needs to be quite low to not blow the seals though.
