Any of you guys ever grapple with your buddies?
 

Last night went to my brothers and we had a bunch of friends over to play rockband and such. My good friend Joe is 6'3 205lbs of muscle, real athletic. and after drnking all night we decide to "wrestle to submission". I've been training jiu jitsu for a little over a year now. I'm 5'10 140 lbs, and skinny. we did it like.. winner takes on next person til they lose. So I take on my brother who's about my size a little more muscular and submit him by triangle in about 3 minutes. Next was my cousin Adam, who is about 170lbs, not in shape at all about 6'0. I guillotine submit him in about 30 seconds. So by now i'm a little winded, and Joe is up next. he charges in and throws my ass around like a ragdoll for about 2 minutes and roughs me up pretty good, dumps me on my head.. I sneak in a triangle but i'm too weak to really get much of it, he powers out. gets me in a headlock and wrenches my neck like a mother fucker and has all of his weight on my shoulders so i'm pinned. I explode and somehow in a scramble I take his back.. he's fighting like a sonuva bitch trying to get me off his back, but I got my hooks in.. work in an arm under his chin, and sink the choke tight. he taps and i'm exhausted and start throwing up outside. This was after about 7 beers mind you. Pretty good time just testing my skills and subbing bigger guys. They were all impressed and i felt like my ---- didn't stink. O0

My friends always are rolling around, and i think they get a little pissed when I always pwn them. Jiu jitsu is pretty dominant in most grappling and ground fighting situations. There were a couple all-state wrestlers in my club when I went, and I could generally handle them pretty well because I had more experience in bjj than they did, though in reality they were far more experienced grapplers

hmm drinking and you start getting close with other guys...really close. Call it what you want but I'll stick with drinking and getting close and personal with chicks. Must be just how you was raised. :P

i used to do it all the time when i was much younger. none of us knew any mariat arts, mostly wrestling

used to do that all the time but no beer involved.. meh

i think out of my entire group of friends only one kid would be able to pin me.. and i got him the majority of the time..

last time i did it i got a mild epiliptic seisure.. havent fucked with that ---- since.. :(

JMU has a BJJ club I participate in. I'd say I'm at the top of the white belt heap at the bottom of the belts.

Pinning is for sissies. Real men lose by tapping.
