any way of fixing an air bubble protruding from the tire?
my sister just hit a pot hole the other day in her integra and for some reason there's an air bubble protruding from the tire on the outer wall. my dad let the air out of the tire and it went away. but i was thinking that it was still going to be there. i went to our compressor and put air back into it and POOF! it's back... is there a way to fix this or should she just replace the tire? she's using her stock rims for now.

Might as well pop it like a pimple and get a new one. It'll probably end up exploding some day. An exploding tire can jack up your fender, seen a few. Saw one messd up the fender and when the tire flew off it peeled off a part of his rear bumper. Krazy ----, bty the car was a caravan, not a little honda, but imagine the damage of it on a honda.... ouch!

The bubble happens when the inside layers of the tire spring a leak basically and it will leak to the outer layer which is a bit thinner. When I did tires a while ago, we had one come in that looked like it had a basketball strapped to the side of it. No ---- it was the size of a basketball. We took the tire off the wheel and the bubble was still there. It stayed like that for 4 days. Pretty cool ---- but very dangerous. New tire for sure.
