Any fuckwad with some HMT skills can turbo a car (more pics 56K maybe)
So I began totaling up everything I've spent making this kit, barely hit $700 at first.
This is the breakdown.
HF Mani with welded adapter and 14b turbo - $100
14b flange - $20
flexpipe - $15
fancy o2 bung - $7
4 Tuner Toys Bends - $70
2 Mcmaster 90* manifold style bends - $10
Stevemode lines - $75
Injectors - $45
Resistor Box - $20
TunerToys Couplers w/clamps - $43 (traded 14b o2 housing for 5th coupler, thanks Craig!)
Dual Stage Boost Controller - $50
JRC 8" FMIC - $199
Blitz DD BOV - $90
Total $744
No money spent on welding, did that myself, and also on some parts had someone else weld at work.
No money spent on ECU socket, cause I already had it, but when I bought that I paid $80 for my ECU to be converted from an auto, socketed, and a basemap
If you wanna count the total for the ECU into it
Total $824
Also if you wanna count my laptop, burner, and wideband, tho they aren't necessary to complete the kit.
Laptop $200
Wideband $279
Burner $42
Total $1345 (still not too bad)
OBVIOUSLY this could be done cheaper, you dont need a $90 BOV and an 8" intercooler, and a cheap napa o2 nut for a bung would work. I decided to go nice on some stuff for when i do my built setup.
The first time I boosted, I paid $1600 for a kit, $80 for the above ECU, and it was a tiny little GReddy mess that only ever got me a 14.72 1/4 mile, boo @ GReddy, guess you gotta learn one way or another. HMT 4 Life.
Here's pics of all the ----.
The Turbo
TunerToys Couplers
Injectors
BOV and HMT Flange
Zeitronix Bungs
Zeitronix WB Controller
Laptop
Bunch of ----, boost controller and stevemode lines bottom right
FMIC
Piping HMT Style
FMIC Mounted
Downpipe shots
5th coupler traded for 14b o2 housing
Willem Burner
14b downpipe flange
And for good measure here is my old school GReddy setup, along with the spark plug wires that ruined me.

Installed pics and video, on Saturday. I plan on getting up early to install. I'd do it sooner but I work all week.
This gives me time to compile all the little things I am going to add in, new spark plugs (anyone know what 1 step colder is for d16?), fresh oil and filter, valve cover gasket, things like that.
Also, does anyone know of a 450cc injector seal I don't need to bore out? I don't have a dremel.
