You can buy a leakdown tester at any decent auto tool store or look online. They tend to run about $50-300.. I built mine for about $20 including the $15 compression tester.

Start with your comp tester.. this is my cheapo one

Get an air regulator. I got this one at..can ya guess? Harbor freight. It was like $2.99 on sale for ½ price. Add a brass T and some air line fittings (all available at HF for about $5 total. I happened to have these laying around though) the brass piece with the small rubber hose should actually be a male air fitting just like the one on top. I just had that one there to test my homemade mbc and didn't feel like taking it out for the pic ;)

I'm sure you can figure it out, but here is the parts list

air regulator - anything will do really. could just use a valve here too, but it's better to have the guage.
2 male air line fittings
¼ brass T
female air line coupler
teflon tape

Here is what it looks like with the compression tester parts connected.

voila! ghetto leak down tester..

yeah, i was just hearing from a friend, and he said no matter what wrench i get that after using it to always zero it out or the nubers will get out of wack.... he also said that you should have them calibrated from time to time ....

I don't want to sound like a dick or anything, but in the time it took you to type that question, you could have just checked on their website for yourself.. It's just a more efficient use of time..
