This is why I didn't want to get into this argument. I knew someone was going to post some super right wing nutjob bullshit like this. Mr. Jordan either pulls all of his 'facts' out of his ass or presents them as half-truths. The $4000 proposed mad ussr socialist secret muslim tax distribution student grant is only available to those that SERVE their country either in the military, peace corp, or some other sort of public servitude. But let me guess, since Obama is providing compensation for a service its all part of his crazy socialist plan right? Oh the 12 'facts' he posted the only ones that have any truth to them are 7, and 10 (minus the misleading parenthesis). 11, 8, and 4 are half truths at best and the rest are just blatant lies. I want to address the universal health care BS because noone has been talking about universal health care since bill clinton almost 20 years ago. What Obama wants to do is update the IT systems that are used by the health care industry, and allow the 45 million uninsured citizens in the US to be able to buy into the Federal health care plan. They still have to pay for it... If you have health care through your employer and you like it you can keep it. Without the massive costs associated with uninsured people going into emergency rooms and not being able to pay their bills then the costs will decrease. That is where the decrease of $2500 comes from...
How that is socialist I have no idea. Its so funny that people continue to focus on how Obama is a socialist while completely ignoring the fact that under George Bush we have been on the fast track to dictatorship. He has twice said on camera that he wishes that this was a dictartorship because it would be easier for him... No checks and balances, diminished rights, our 'free market' spending literally TRILLIONS to bail out companies that under free market/ capitalistic principles should be allowed to fail.

The economy has been full of lost jobs and credit has income for 10+years. It has to correct itself adding more credit into the system is just adding fuel to the problem



The idea that people think government is needed for economic growth are foolish at best. Moron's who have 125k in student loan debt, 400k homes with 40k income are meant to fail.



Obama adding Billions in borrowed money will only weaken the us dollar its kinda day one ---- in Economics which no one can grasp for some odd reason.



New energy needs to be private and plenty of companies are already up and coming. Government intervention in their develoment will only slow down the process of new energy.


Government takes years to get anything done what makes people think Obama is different.



Conclusion: Crying to your government to save you is a joke. Save yourself.

How is allowing people that work for fascist corporations that refuse to offer them employer subsidized medical care access to medical care socialism? Universal health care is socialist but again, if you guys stopped reading drudge report and fox news you would know that isn't what he wants at all...

So we should continue our trend towards deregulation? That has worked fantastically towards us. Who the ---- appointed the Free markets that ultimate solution to everything?? So in a global economy we should allow our companies to fail while they are subject to unfair competition? The governments job is not to save failed business plans, but rather to level the playing field. I don't understand the concept of people talking about the 'free markets' in theory its a great idea but in practice it ------- sucks. Why haven't our cars evolved hardly in the past hundred years while we have been able to go into space and have computers fit in the palm of our hands? Because of the 'free markets?' Why are we still facing a huge liquidity crisis even after the Fed has pumped $7,600,000,000,000 into the market??? Why haven't solar panels and battery technologies evolved much?? Exactly.... Government intervention is needed because companies are self serving. They will sell our children poisoned toys as long as it helps their bottom line. They will sell us securities they know our worthless if it helps them get a year end bonus. They sell us inefficient cars that pollute because they are more profitable.......

Anyone that puts 100% backing into either the free markets or the government is a ------- moron. In business school we never once were taught about the overcompassing power of the free markets....
