Ask people that actually know how debates work and they will say Biden won. Palin is more appealing, but she avoided the questions for the most part, especially in the first half. Basically all she had to say was "soccer moms" and her ticker shot up.
Who did they poll, the undecided voters of Ohio? That's the ticker I was watching and they strongly liked Palin.
My roommate is a poli sci major and an extreme conservative and even she agreed that Biden won. Palin didn't show up to debate, she was there to appeal to the people that she should be loved.

Re: Another great one is gone...
i looked at several polls during the debate on CNN and foxnews the other channels didn't really cover it which is odd...
biden is a liar. if you take his responses at face value it seems like he knows what he is talking about. but if you actually look at this statements many are untrue

I work with 8-12 PHD poly sci professors and 2 lawyers who have been in government. As I'm an administrative assistant in the political science department at my university. Everyone this morning was calling it a draw, or agreeing that Biden lost the gay vote.
I personally just felt like I was watching two ------- twits argue about who the government should steal from or control in order to make things "fair" and promptly turned that bullshit off. I don't subscribe to either ideology.
IMO if there was a winner, Palin won. Only because she didn't lose and crumble up like everyone expected her to going against Biden.

Re: Another great one is gone...
i agree with rawr on the general feelings of the debate, but i think this is true with all debates.
i would've tore biden a new -------, probably several new ******** with his socialist ideals.
if you watch the ticker thing at the bottom of the screen everytime palin said something about personal responsibility or government out of my face the numbers went up 90-100% agree with R and D.
which doesn't make sense why a D would be a D if they agree with those statements, well and i guess why a R would be a R anymore too

Re: Another great one is gone...
Interesting. I turned it off halfway but my roommates kept watching and I was listening in, so she could have won the 2nd half. In the 1st half she didn't even debate. It is interesting though that she didn't run her mouth off like I've seen from her. I applaud her restraint. The people I've talked to said they liked Palin's answers and her strategy worked, but she didn't really debate much.
Without checking into senate records (which I don't want to do) I don't really know who's telling half truths and whole lies.
