That's right, we're headed back out to California Speedway this Saturday for more action. Racing is from 4-11pm. We had a great time last time, except for one blown motor, but I think we all know what to expect now, and it's time to bring the grill!!! Woo Hoo.
That being said, everybody seems to be taking their cars a step further this time around (as far as the rumors I've heard ;)) and we need to see if we can get some items together.

5th wheel trailor is coming! Now we need a grill, some beef (lettuce only for bambi) and whatever hell else you guys can think of to make our race day better. Albert said he was going to buy a grill, but I though it would be better to make a post and see if someone already had one, other things, ect....

So post up with what you can bring to the races and also let me know what time you all want to meet up. Last time we met a little early which worked out, but we all know how the day will go, so let me know what time you guys want to show up.

R/T pot of $10/person will be in full effect. If you don't want to have fun with all the hmt crew, we'll let you hang out with the "over the hill PT Cruiser" guys. haha. I want this to be fun and competetive for all of us with all of the cars.

An E/T pot would be fun for about three of us. Murdoc isn't gonna race the benzo, but I've been hearing about t3/t4 setups, backup motors waiting, borrowed slicks, ect. all happening over the course of this last week. I think I'm the hunted this time, but I've got something for em'. ;)

Albert picked up his built motor today, so the one he's got in his car is hostage this Sat. He also lined up some slicks.

Donald just installed a t3/t4. (Why so big buddy? ???)

Julio is turboing this friday night.

(Even the hmt enquirer makes mistakes sometimes.)

i don`t even how it will goes.
my ----`s now at 4psi (with stock exhaust) only and i am spining tires at 1st and 2nd gear right after it hit vtec. :-X
planning to richen pat`s map a little then crank it up to 10psi.
hopefully will hit 12s at my very first run. :P ;D

another trick up the sleeve over here.

we'll hopefully have the piece of ---- setup GSR Del Sol a little happier, w/ a 60/63 and a front mount thanx to murdoc and some last minute type of ----. that is if julio lets us impose on his install day to do a double down last minute install. (HMT SoCal at it's best, ----, we might as well boost one of the cars in the pits on saturday)

I will not be running, unless I get all of my cooling problems figured out. I figure, after buying a fluidyne, a low temp t-stat, an adjustable fan switch, a flex-a-lite fan, and new hoses, the only thing left to be fucked up is the HG, and if it's that you guys better watch out, 'cause I'm not pulling that head without building a bottom end to make it worth my while ;D

i dont think ill have time even if we finish say before 12 midnight....only cause it will technically be my wifes B-day

she turns....( im not suppose to tell you ) anyway her B-day is july 31st and it just so happens to be the same as track day. hopefully she wont mind coming along to the track on her b-day and i figure i celebrate her b-day on sunday. after all she was born around 8ish on the 31st of july. so for 24 hours after 8 on the 31st it will be her b-day.

just hope she's Okwith it. maybe whiterice can bring his family and that way she wont feel so left out.

you guys are gonna have to help me convince her to go on sat. so help me out as she reads most of our retarded posts...she laughs though so i think she finds it humorous...

we can decorate the tent with balloons and streamers. get a cake with one of those numbered candles. i'm gonna try to fit a small table in the civic along with the tent. ask her what she would like to eat. carne asada, carnitas, t-bone or tri-tip steak. i think we should bring some corn and roast it on the bbq. some potatoes as well.
for the car: the priorities should be:
return fitting welded on oil pan.
downpipe cut/fitted and welded.
if ghetto is not there, get the header, downpipe, bumper off. mount the turbo and fit the intercooler, and charge pipes. just start tonight and early next morning. you could be finished in the afternoon. easy.

Dam. I wish I was stationed at Camp Pendelton. :'( I would be in on all of the HMT meets that go on in the S. Cali area.

OK so the wife is in on going to the tarck on saturday for her b-day...i had to buy a lot of stuff on ebay for her ;)

anyway so im going home in a abit, putting the 4 door on jack stands, draining the oil, takinf off the front bumper and anything that might get in the way, and ill buy a drill bit to tapp the oil pan aswell.

thisway friday Ghetto can some down, weld the DP and thats it...maybe if i dont get a chance to do the charge pipes then we do em on friday .

Im going to "Road race" after i leave here from work to pick up 2 "U" bends they are open till 9 pm.....how cool is that?

Oh yeah, I might not be running tomorrow.
The turbo we put on last week was smoking pretty bad today.
I got another turbo ready but need a new down pipe. Actually a few welds. With my luck, that one be shotty as well. So my day will start at 7 mocking up a new downpipe and then finding a welder on a Saturday. If not, I'll just run n/a.

Well, my friend that was bringing the 5th wheel trailer has to work until 2pm, so I'm not sure if he's bringing the trailer or coming straight to the track. I'm gonna call him and tell him he's a democrat if he doesn't bring it. haha :D
