Keep it as is. The bore's in rough shape but the rest is beautiful. I went to the Gander Mtn gunsmith today and their prices are ------- outrageous. I'm not sure if the gun is still chambered for 7.65x53 as it came from the factory, but they wanted $150 just to make a cast of the chamber to find out exactly what it is. ---- all that noise the gun is only worth $80. I'm just going to clean the hell out of it, fire some surplus fmj's to clean it out, maybe drill and tap the receiver for a scope mount if the gun proves to be worth a ----, and give her hell. The action, barrel, and bolt all have matching numbers, but the stock appears to be cut from another Argentine. I don't really care, it's going to be a plinker/killing ---- rifle.
