what about if i ran it to the battery , is that good enough? also i didnt solder it...just spliced and put some electrical tape around it....would it be better? also i can unplug my oxygen sensor while my car is running and it wont cut off, is this normal...

ya it should still run w/o an o2 sensor.. either normally or in Limp mode.

The ground wire for the guage should not be very long..

did u say u have the guage in your a-pillar grounded to the battery?? if so, move the ground do somewhere below.. like the fuse box under the steering wheel area.

where at under the fuse box?? i am wondering with that check engine light on does it put my car in limp mode...??

no it shouldn't.. where the fuse box is under the steering wheel look for a bolt that goes into the chassis that has a wire grounded there. just use the same bolt. make sure both wires are secured.

cool i will do that tonite...now what could be causing that damn check engine light...my o2 sensor is attached...car is running fine....i dont really understand this damn thing....but i do know it came on after i spliced that wire....i wish i wouldnt have done that...i have a bosch o2 sensor, only a week old....i will try to figure it out, any suggestions?

well thanx for all the hell dude i appreciate it...i love this site, it is so cool...i will try to fix it once a gain tonite after i get off of work....hopefully i will have good results..
