I guess your friends parents think the car is more important than his life, lol.
I know if I was in the hospital and my family could not afford the treatment or to put food on the table because they spent all of this money on me to get better they would of sold my car.
My uncle in germany found out he has cancer, he is in real rough shape right now, guess what my parents did, they had quite a bit of money saved up to go somewhere nice for 2 weeks this summer, they sent it to him and his family so they can get better.
I'm sure you, your parents, and your friends parents can compromize a few things to save him, we did.
I guess your friends parents think the car is more important than his life, lol.
