And I'm not a ------I'm trying to raise money for his family who has to pay for 2+ months of hospital bills and I don't think he has insurance, but even with it-not nearly 1/2 the bills would be covered. His mom isn't working so she can be there with him and the american dollar isn't mighty anymore-we all know this.

I hear ya, people get sick and die all the time. ---- happens, it sucks but maybe you should have put your money into things that are more important like insurance instead of your car,unless your car is more important than ---- you why should I have to pay for your health. I have hospital bills still from like 2 years ago when I didn't have insurance. Guess what, I'm trying to pay them off little by little, and you can bet your ass my broke ass is keepin insurance now.

Don't worry, they'll still treat you. you just rack up a nice little debt. You can make payments though.

Insurance usually has little help on something of a large magnitude.

A family friend here in portland developed Aplastic Anemia in his last year of high school.

The medical expense totaled in excess of 2 million dollars, insurance covered a large portion, but the family was still left with hundreds of thousands to cover themselves.
