So yesterday I was driving to work and I got in an accident. I was driving down my street and some guy in a grand cherokee pulled out and hit my car. It was completely his fault and he admits it.

Normally I would be pissed that I just got in an accident, but I'm kind of happy. I've been meaning to get a new crx and put the parts from this one on it. (Orange is getting old.. see pics.) Now, it looks like a got a head start on it. Either we'll settle this outside of insurance and i'll just get cash. Or we'll do it through insurance and they'll total it. Hopefully I could keep it long enough to get my stuff off of it though.

No need to flame on the car.. I kno it's gay, but if it makes you feel any better, it is turbo.

The front right fender is gone, the rim is dented a bit, and the door is scraped up. I don't know if the suspension is fucked up. We'll see tomorrow.

That's the kind of thing that makes me want to have a larger vehicle.. he had a few scratches and a small puncture.. and your car is pretty screwed up.

I hope it gets totalled for your sake.

the same thing kinda happened to me, i had a 96 civic ex, and i was tired of it cuase it was auto, but chouldnt sell it, so some lady hit me on xmas eve as she was trying to turn into the mall, so i went back that night, jumped on the hood and did a few other things so i was sure they whould total it and they did and gave me 1000 more then i payed for the thing, sweet deal

well it sucks that theres gonna be one less crx out there now. It'd be sweet for you if the guy gave ya $$, that way you can keep parts and part it out.

i wouldn't say that too loudly, insurance fraud has no statute of limitations.

no fruad here, it was pretty much totalled itself, engine bay fram was smashed, i just helped it

so what are you guys settling at? 300 bucks? I hope this person is a baller and you will be able to get a 1k+ CASH outta him/her.

Cause insurance would probably give you more than what that person has in mind.
