I have had both. The american stuff gives you what is equal to a buzz and a high, which is nice. And it takes far less than most alcohol for some reason.
my friend is jewish and makes yearly trips to israel. he has a bottle of the good stuff and any of you saying you have taken absinthe that havent had the real ---- are idiots. They are night and day different. The stuff from israel fucked me up BAD. i mean i had little pink elephants following me around and ----.
if you can get your hands on some real stuff, smoke a blunt and drink a few glasses. If you can only get U.S. stuff, ---- it. its not worth it
