Re: 95 gsr...what would you pay
I work at a car dealership, with mileage I'm guessing they got this car as a trade-in. Anyone on here will tell you they give jack ---- for trade-in's. Trade-in on that car depending on the condition is about $1500-2000 if they were nice. Just ask if it was a trade-in and lowball the ---- out of them.

sounds fine to me. if in fact it's pretty clean/no problems, anything 3500 or below i think seems solid. yeah you can play the waiting game and just leave if they turn down a lowball....but they don't give a ----, cause a car like that probably won't stay on the lot very long.
plus it'll be hittin all kindsa m4d vt3k NOISES!!!

dealerships can litterly steal your car from you...depending on how you look at it.
say a car is marked up $6000. Price on the car is $26,000, the dealer bought it for $20,000.
someone walks in with a car for trade. Offers the dealer, $24,000 plus there car (trade in)
Sold, deal goes through. Dealer cleans the **** out of the trade, puts a few hundred bucks in it in the shop...puts that "$2000" car back on the lot for $6000...so in the end, that car ended up making more than the loss.
See how thats "stealing the car". I worked at a car dealer as a salesman before the military...back in 2000-2001.
Kinda miss it honestly.
BTW, i'd lowball the ---- out of them. If you have cash, take it with you. I personally would take around $2900 in cash with you. In my experiences years ago, if we would mark the ---- down out of a car, they want the bitch gone off the lot. Its not worth there time. My guess, anything you give them is pure profit.
