yup, vr6's have 1 cylinder head.. 15 degree V block.

Pat just race the guy for 20 bucks, I bet you will suprise him. He probably isnt rolling on Drag radials nor he probably doesnt have a real lsd. Thats your biggest advantage. If he wins tell him he can race your buddies girlfriends car for a rematch

ok, ive got a lot to say on this one, since almost all of my friends have turbo vw's and are serious with it. one of my good friends has a vr6 turbo'd with a t4 60-1 hifi and it rips out pretty good. (made like 212whp on ~5psi due to a boost leak, but its fixed now on 10psi)if his car didnt weigh like 3200 pounds with him in it, it would be retarted fast. limiting factor on a vr6 for ~400 whp is actually the trans, and it can be fixed with the addition of an lsd.

as far as mk2's go, there is a vr6 turbo mk2 in my town that lost to a b18b turbo swapped eg hatch on 10 psi.

on the same note, i know of someone else who has a s/c vr6 in an mk2, and with 240whp and 220tq it ran 13.4. a vr6-t will put out bigger#'s than that, so times should be less.

i say race for the hell of it, no matter which way it goes it should be a pretty good race

Only volkswagen's I like are the MK2's, and the Corrado's. They can be fast, but I find that VW's give plenty of problems, more than others for the fact.

What suspension mods did you have on your SI projekteg?

My dad's GF has a '96 GTI 4 banger, and I hate that piece of crap. I also hate the VR6 heads total crap. But I don't wanna **** off any VW lovers, I know they can be quick, and what not, so I give them credit where do. Race him, rape his car, ---- his chick...

Coming from the VW camp, I'm no lover of them. I protected it cause it cost so much, and it was a nice car, but I don't care for it near as much as my rex.
