in college we did a smc in a miata 9" rear end, custom drive line that ****** hauled *** till the torgue twisted the frame

that car will probably fly...reminds me of that 9 second Geo Metro hatch with the GNT motor slapped into it

Looks like fun, but the short wheelbase can be a PITA.
A guy in Iceland built a fiberglass body tube chassis ****** Coupe '43, with a blown 540 on alcohol.
That thing couldn't hook or go straight to save it's life. Off the line it just burned the tires with the front end up in the air. And down the track it was the same story, anything more than half throttle would just burn the massive slicks, at over 120mph.
