89 Crx, Carburated, questions.

Some kids selling a 89 crx thats carburated, he wants 1400 for it, no rust, no real problems, its got 130k on it
Anyway, is there anything that you can do to them performance wise?

Id buy it and drive it for a while, then eventually do a motor swap, ( not anythng crazy, Just any FI motor, Maybe a zc or somthing)

What would i have to do to do the swap, would i NEED to do a ecu swap or could i use the zdyne ecu?

But i could have swore i seen someone turbo a carburated crx before

Im pretty new, so please dont flame, im just trrying to figure this out

well if its carburated then it's definatley been tampered with so I wouldn't ---- with it.

Or perhaps either you didn't know they stopped doing carbs after 87, or the dumbass kid told you it's a carb because he doesn't know a thing about cars.

I dunno. If it was a clean body I'd buy it and set it right, but if you have the ZDyne mentality doing that would cost seven times what the car sold for new. :l

Or perhaps maybe he's not from the US where they had carb'd hondas for much longer than 87?
