89 Civic HB Seat brackets different than 88's ??

Wedge industries makes sparco seat brackets for the 1988-91 HB, 1988-91 CRX and 1988-89 HB. Now I was told that 1988 and 1989 bolt patterns are all different, the 1989 is more narrow.

I have a 1989 HB.

If anybody who is reading this has an 89 HB and found brackets for their car, please let me know where you got them at. Thanx in advance

not too sure about HB, but the CRX had different rails for 88-89 and 90-91

The difference came from if the seatbelt was mounted with the seat, or bolted directly into the floorpan. You can grind a 90-91 to fit but only 3 of the four bolt holes will match up

88 hatch back seat bolt patterns are totally different than 89-91.

89-91 hatch seta rail are the same!!!!

They only make 88-89 and 88-91 so by what you are saying, they never got a 1989 hb to see if it fit right?

no they are just stupid...89 might be the same as 88 but i know for sure that 90 and 91 seat rails are the same..and i know for a fact that 88's are totally differentfrom 90-91

i have a 88 hatch and 90 4 door and they are not the same!!!!!
