Re: 60 ft tips
well todays the day
did some burn outs last night to break the slick in out of storage (im sure the nabours loved that )
i noticed the clutch felt a little stiffer after wards, is that from the pressure plate warming up?

Re: 60 ft tips
I have to lift my car another half inch to fit this 24.5X8X15 of matts ( they are like 1/2" to a full 1" TALLER than the exospeed 24.5X8X15's that are sitting my garage) so that bitch needs some lift. Doing that right now

11.5 psi tire pressure
last years run on same slicks (dont know tire pressure) was 13.6 @105 mph with a 2.2 60 ft
this set up is tuned by me
the old one was tuned by a shop but from what i know now (looked at old tune) i think they ran too much timing that resulted in spun rod bearings

Re: 60 ft tips ******results*****
nice improvement, i was able to pull a 2.1 60' on bald all seasons at 18 psi with a stock z6 motor and trans in a cx chassis. popped the cluth at the rev limiter no preload or anything fancy. Wheel hopped like a bitch and ran my fastest time ever. Of course I tried to back it up and blew the diff when it grabbed on the next run. hence why i'm interested in this preload business.
