5 speed + Girlfriend = a bad day
Well, today I promised my girlfriend that I'd attempt to teach her how to drive stick, knowing that she knows how to drive an auto, I assumed that it wouldnt be too hard of a task to teach her the real deal...I was wrong.
So she sat in the car, I sat bescide her and fastened my seat belt tightly, then i tried to explain to her how a clutch works, she didnt seem to be interested in my lectures instead she just wanted to drive.
So i take her through the procedure and off she goes, as shes shaking the hell out of my car, i swear i thought I'm going to kill her, i have a brand new clutch too, well after a couple of stalls and heavy head blowing jolts, i told her to get the hell out, she got mad at me because i wont let her destroy my own car.
Ok, so i try it one more time, this time she gets on the throttle and pops the clutch while laughign and leaving a cloud of smoke behind the car, not only does her driving scare the ---- out of me, but she still cant tell which gear is where, after countless attempts to teach her. she has to look down at her feet to make sure shes pressing the clutch, she stops with the car still in gear while her left foot is the one on the brakes.
so basically my day was ----, cuz she got mad at me, not trying to be a dick i told her that she did good and took her out for dinner, but i swear, thats the last time she ever gets to drive my car.

My brother taught me to drive a manuel. I had just bought a 91 talon tsi with an upgraded turbo and didnt know ---- about driving so he's like come on I'll teach ya. After an half hr of him squeeling tires, racing, and redlining at everylight I said ---- that get the hell in the driver seat If anyones going to blow my ------- car up its going to be me and my non stcik driving ***. That first day I killed a mustang gt and t sucked at driving.
