Indeed so, 1 year ago this day, this hour, and even.. this minuite, is when we first setup the Homemadeturbo Forum. It amazes how time flies, and how this forum has just grown into something great. I'd like to thank a few people for making all of this happen.

First off, the admins

Freerock - My brother, who has helped this site out a ton. He's a very busy guy like myself, and spares enough time whenever we have a problem with the website. May of last year (when we were having all the server problems) He built the HMT server along with hosting it out of his house. Just want to say thanks Kevin.

Random-Strike - Johnny, he has been there from the beginning, doing a ---- ton of the HTML work, I thank you again man. Your work is truly appreciated!


Global Admins

Onyx - Wyatt, it wouldn't be the same if you weren't here.. I'm glad shortyz took that summer break so you could fill in.

Shortyz - Jordan, has been there from the very get go, leading the FI forum and now a global mod. Your posts just crack me up..

Leed - Dave, The B16 timing master.. glad to have you on the HMT team dude. You did some great videos this year for us!

Blacksi - Beau, your always going to be apart of the HMT family regardless of what happens between us. :)

Dr. Boost - Justin, my top poster, lol... I applicate all your time.. I know the posts can get so damn repetitive in FI, but you always have something good to say.

Crx88si - Mike, I didnt think I've ever seen a guy logged on the board longer than you throughout the day. :)

I can seriously say that my life would not be the same without you guys, woulda made the post list, except the first couple months I just read, and didn't waste your time. Not any more, I waste lots of time here, just not my own.

I really thought this forum was older than that so its a small suprise at least. Anyways thank you jeff and everyone who has helped keep this site alive and what it is today.

I spend more time here than I do on the jbody forums. Everyone here is cool despite my strange tastes and ways, somehow you guys seem to respect it lol.

I'm sure I'll be comming here for a long time. I told my girlfriend yesterday that I will turbo every vehicle I own from now on, and I'll try to keep to that.

Oh and Jeff I do plan on making my project page, its just the end of the semester and its hell to say the least. Possibly later this week or early next week on break.

I signed up a year ago 2 days after this forum was born and I have learned so much. I have helped a lot of people with little questions on here and other forums, but it was all thanks to HMT. This was also the first forum I was ever a member of. I am now a member of a few other forums, but none of them even compare to HMT. Thanks to everybody who has contributed anything big or small to this site. You all kick ass! :D

I visited the site way before the forums. You guys inspired me to start my own HMT setup, I had gone to some shops before they wanted $3000+ for a turbo setup. But after they were created I learned soooo much about the how-to do things that it's incredible, and you guys are always there when anyone of us need help, being on the cars or kicking someones ass. You made me believe I could do it and I just did finished my project. I'm glad I found this site, now I spend all day here.

Man, what to say?
I came on this site not even knowing that a turbo project was something I wanted to do. HMT convinced me that it would be easy, so I thought I'd give it a try. I soon started reading and just became addicted. For real.
The best thing about this site is that you don't just talk cars here, it's a little gossip, a little humor, but alot of good people interested in some of the same interests. If it were just one of those subjects, it wouldn't be that unique, but its all of them, and I like it! :D
Without HMT I wouldn't have started a small business out of my house. Not HMT itself, but the members who have supported the products I've come up with. I buy as many of my parts here as I can in hopes of showing love back. (Most of you get me for trades and ---- though.) :P ;D
And Bigwig, (a.k.a. Bignig) :D I myself haven't finished my turbo project ethier. That's what's great about HMT, they give you the basics, and you go as far as you want. Some members set up kit's in a week, and I'm sure some take years. (Almost 1 year in building here) It's not all about having a turbo car as fast as possible, it's about taking your time and making bigwig put that toungue back in his mouth when he see's your timeslip! ;) ;D 8)

Seriously, I started out a few months on www.automotiveforums.com and that place sucked ass...then i was informed about honda-tech and spent time there dealing w/ the ridiculous flamming and all that bullshit and then i finally looked past the blown engines in the tech page and started hanging out on the forums on this site and this whole turbo idea has become much more realistic. i sold all my turbo ---- before coming to this site as a frequent viewer and now this site has made me want to go out and buy new different ---- and boost the ---- out of my car.

PS The day i put my tongue back in my mouth is the day both Stealth and Beerbong have their hondas turboed. until then :P

When I first signed up here I was in total shock. I couldn't believe there were so many poeple out there with the same goals and dreams as me. I was so glad to finaly talk to people that have damn near the same exact interests and even some that seem like they are your long lost twin brother(D16z64life ;)). I probably wouldn't be cahtting on forums if it weren't for this site. The others just don't cut it, as we all found out recently when the site went down. I hope we can continue to grow as a community and further our education in the wonderful world of boost. 8)

I think I'm going to cry :'( :P

hell ya congrats HMT!. i dont know where id be without it. i remember when it was just a site looking at the blown motors section thinking these guys are nuts. but they really made it seem easy. more than year later ive gone through two turbos and one engine and im working on the next. id probably be some looser still trying to get power from an intake and exhaust and stickers. the best thing i like about this place is that everyone respects the Homemade part of the setup, you dont get flamed for using plastic pipes and zip ties like in those other forums.im glad im not the only broke guy in this world that wants boost. I LOVE HOMEMADETURBO.COM ;D

been that long already huh? seems like just a few months ago i found this website with no forums about a bunch of crazy white boys looking for more power for less money, and pics of Beau smoking the downpipe ;D. thanks you guys for all the help with my turbo and the never ending education on how not to blow motors and tear up carbon fiber hoods.
