2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

90% of the fuel and brakes are done now. Colin is coming over on Sunday to figure out the rats nest of wiring. That's not my thing. Should be racing minivans in April or so.

Missing injectors on their way back from KG Parts.

Fuel filter coming in along side the new rear brake lines (coming out of fender well)

Found this do-hickey to start the new fuel feed off of while scratching my head trying to eliminate the stock banjo at the pump.

Stealthmode signature black wrapped stainless brake lines. Is there any other kind? :6

How she sits today. No, I'm not above using christmas lights as work lights under the car.

Right where Colin left off last time he was here. It's been a couple months, but I didn't want to ruin it for him. >:D

Sub box, battery box, where the amp might go, and a bunch of wiring that needs to be hooked up and hidden.

Not going to attempt to paint the bar completely until both back windows are out. What a bitch.

All glass. Just took out the back window because I pulled the rubber seal for painting, and it doesn't go back in without taking the window out.

First time I drove a RHD car, I couldn't keep the left side of the car out of the middle of the road.
True story.

There is so much fun to be had with a spare steering wheel and people in the left lane. O0

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

I'm not worried about it getting stolen. I live in the boondocks for the most part, with a garage. The car will have a kill switch for every beaner in LA.

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

im living in the boonbocks now...local dude drove his bone ass stock del sol an hour away, came outside and it was gone. Of course I hope this doesn't happen to you, but thats the exact reason I got something else. Just not worth the worry, and with you installing a kill switch...its obvious its something your worried about. Sucks, huh? :(

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

I wouldn't really worry in his neighborhood... You don't need to be worried to install a kill switch.

I havent had one of my hondas stolen and the streets I grew up are on Rap songs. You have to be smart. NO night time parking except gated yard/garage. No ecu/steering wheel/switches during the day

12 years of owning Hondas with jdm parts/rims etc have all my cars still. My shop got broken into by tweakers though. They stole old stereos that didnt work and stock b16a cams LOL.

Last year or so they are sitting motorless so 11 years.

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

what im saying is, it really sucks you gotta go through all of that ---- in order to have a frickin honda. Soup up a volvo with 400hp and you could leave that ---- unlocked probably every day.

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

You get use to it. Have another car to drive to work etc with hence why I have tundra.

Well yea Frank, I mean welcome back to America. Hondas & Theives go hand and hand

MikeJ-2009 01-05-2009 08:05 PM

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

I know what you're saying Frank, but I'll be more worried about people scratching it before stealing it, especially with how cheap the kill switches will be and how crafty you can install them.

There is a certain threshold of society that would make me not want to have anything nice anymore, but I haven't had that feeling since CA. when that beaner smashed in my crx window to steal my hockey bag full of stanky gear. In MN crime is 1000 times lower, the attitude of the people are different, and I legally carry a gun in swimming shorts.

Police: St. Cloud woman tried to set boyfriend on fire

Associated Press

January 12, 2009

ST. CLOUD, Minn. - A St. Cloud woman is in jail after police say she tried to set her boyfriend on fire using a lighter and air freshener.

Investigators say the 49-year-old woman is accused of pouring fingernail polish remover on the victim and the blanket covering him, then trying to light him on fire.

The victim was able to take the air freshener from the woman. Police say she then hit him on the back of the head and bit him several times. As the man tried to call police, the woman allegedly ripped the phone cord out of the wall.

The woman is in the Stearns County Jail on suspicion of domestic assault and interfering with a 911 call.

Steve, I didn't see if you already said something about it but any reason for the gsr IM? Something I'm missing?

MikeJ-2009 01-13-2009 10:11 PM

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

It's a gsr head, so my only real options without spending a bazillion dollars was the gsr IM, or a JD recommended AEBS one. I chose the cheaper.

SkunT 01-13-2009 11:14 PM

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

manifolds are cheap as ---- these days steve. plan to get rid of that ----.

MikeJ-2009 01-14-2009 12:58 AM

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

It's not like the gsr manifold is only good to 200whp. I got boost sons.

Re: 2017 debut shouldn't be a problem...

I know, But it can be alot more limiting then one would think. With all the other money spent, I wanna see atleast a good manifold by 2017!

Well forget the aebs/pro products units. I have been waiting for 3 months now for a customers gsr unit and one for my car. I have a strong feeling they are no longer going to be in business after this year. Word on the street is they have jack ---- in stock and are holding alot of peoples money like mine waiting on a part that should be atmost backordered a month.

While there are two places I know of selling those at a comparable price to yours, most sell them for $100-150 more so it's really ------- funny.

Another update. The wiring knowledgeabilities of Colin (snabfxu??) were in full effect this Saturday. He got *most of the ---- pulled together and the dash in. Tonight I got the door panels and seats back in, wifemode being my unsuspecting model.

Looking at that wiring makes me want to puke, but I'm glad we got it sorted out.

You fab up those mounts for the seats I take it?

yuppers. The wiring makes me wanna puke as well, but then YOU figured the ---- out, not WE, and that's why the only original key to this car that I have will be in your possession.
