2006 Subaru WRX STi
Here are actual pictures of the new car. Well new front to change it to the new company facia.

Oh good god! Thats ugly as sin! :-X That reminds me of some pontiac looking ----. Weezer starts playing "Say it ain't soo-oooo..." :'( Their last face lift was the best looking ---- and don't know why they changed it. It may be fast but now thats one ugly looking fucker.

def looks diff. Still got that spoiler on the end but it doesn't look as big. I like the new look. Any increase of performance? Is the transmission stronger?

i remember seeing some comprasion saying the MR a slightly faster then the STI???
IMO it`s a Marketing thing. 300 horse 300 tork always sounds better then a 276 horse 286 tork same goes to "boxer engine" vs inline four engine. again that`s a american thing, what 99.9% of the ppl focus on is straight line performace, in their mind, performance meas pure accelaration, how fast you can complete the ~~quarter mile~~ :-\ what`s funny is that i saw an artical on reviewing the 05 mustang GT. at last the guy wrote "It is still the best stight line performace you can buy" now THAT tells you somethin. :-X |

I Still own an XT-6, AWD 6cyl boxer engine, 150hp. Not bad for 1988.
The new front is supposed to represent subaru's heritage as airplane builders, yes they did build airplanes years ago, and their engines are still used to built a lot of DIY airplane kits, I huess the middle part is the body of the airplane, and the sides the wings of course. Subaru has always had interesting car designs. The SVX was awesome, 300hp but only came auto. A lot of people swap in a 5speed. The impreza are their best cars, and to my opinion along with the outback, what saved the company in the US market. |

omg it does look like a pontiac. I think it still looks better thats just me though. I never really like how they looked in the first place. I think they need something new. Personally i hope they just increased its performance and manuverablility because the evo is doing some upgrades and its going to give the sti some competetion.

Thats what the BMW symbol is since BMW made planes before cars. Two propeller in a blue sky. Also Saab has yet to change there dashes much since they also were a big plane company and the dash resembles a aircraft dash. Also the viggen was the name of a jet they made I believe.

not the WRX the Sti tranny, the WRX tranny breaks with abuse, like drop the clutch launches. You can't drive an AWD like a FWD.
