the civic just feels a shitload better. so quick, smooth, and responsive. the bucket seats just suck you in.

and for the power department.. even though the civic got less power & torque. it feels like a monster compare to the tc.

civics lowend torque & drive by wire > tc

You must be drunk the tc>civic in torque by like 20-40 ft/lbs also tc is also drive by wire which sucks for any car

They look like decent commuter rides, a coworker purchased one.

Their days as a performance vehicle, short of K-swap faggotry, is over.

id say if your going for the si get it but if your going for an ex(waste of money) or lower the tc will be better for your gf. more options for the money and you could prob pick one up slightly used

yea...i only drive my friend's 5 speed tc and help him bought it a year ago. not only that, i just bought and own a 06 5 speed manual civic. what do i know right. your scientific research proves me wrong. what shitbox do you drive? drive by wire sucks for anycar? bmw must be retarded because their cars are DBW and yes i drive my brother in law 98 328 convertible. DBW must suck so bad that, honda decided to put it in their flagship sports car s2000 in the 06 models as standard.

come again when you can speak with some experience and get out of your shitbox.

honda revised the 06 civic so that now, the car is extremely torquey on the low end you moron. around 110lbs of torque is available right away @ 2500 rpm. compare that to the tc and the tc feels like a camry as it slowly climbs to 110lbs of torque @ however high rpm. the civic push me back to the seat EVERY time i tap on the gas and burn the tires out unintentionally all the time at stop lights, i can't do it with the tc at the same rpm unless i hit WOT.

the tc also weighs around 400lbs over the civic you moron.

come back and talk with some type of real world experience of these cars before opening your mouth

never driven both but i raced some 5 speed Tc and smoked him O0

but i`ve driven one of those camry that has the same 2.4 motor LOL. when they are brand new it is a lot quicker then most u would throught and hit up speed govenor plenty quickly. :S

edit:
u know what, i did drove a few rsx, base and type-S, the drive by wire SUCK :-*, well not entierly but i guess the computer takes time to learn a new driving habit, coz everytime when i take it out for a drive the thottle tends to "stick" for a liek a split second when i let off the thottle. It would run fine after i drove it for coupler hours or so :S

You can check customers' incidents by going to Edmunds.com, click on forums, then choose your vehicle. Take a test drive and dont commit to anything while you are still shopping around. I think you cant go wrong.
