Re: 2006 Honda civic
My girlfriend got a Scion Tc more horsepower comes standard fully loaded I think the Tc is the best car for the money

Re: 2006 Honda civic
i took my friend to the dealership and handle the whole buying situation for him a year ago. yes i've driven it and it doesn't impress me as the 06 civic ($14k).
the civic just feels a shitload better. so quick, smooth, and responsive. the bucket seats just suck you in. and for the power department.. even though the civic got less power & torque. it feels like a monster compare to the tc. civics lowend torque & drive by wire > tc |
Re: 2006 Honda civic
Looks like there's a couple fellow honda fans here. :P

|
Re: 2006 Honda civic
They look like decent commuter rides, a coworker purchased one.
Their days as a performance vehicle, short of K-swap faggotry, is over. |
Re: 2006 Honda civic
id say if your going for the si get it but if your going for an ex(waste of money) or lower the tc will be better for your gf. more options for the money and you could prob pick one up slightly used

come again when you can speak with some experience and get out of your shitbox. honda revised the 06 civic so that now, the car is extremely torquey on the low end you moron. around 110lbs of torque is available right away @ 2500 rpm. compare that to the tc and the tc feels like a camry as it slowly climbs to 110lbs of torque @ however high rpm. the civic push me back to the seat EVERY time i tap on the gas and burn the tires out unintentionally all the time at stop lights, i can't do it with the tc at the same rpm unless i hit WOT. the tc also weighs around 400lbs over the civic you moron. come back and talk with some type of real world experience of these cars before opening your mouth |
Re: 2006 Honda civic
never driven both but i raced some 5 speed Tc and smoked him O0
but i`ve driven one of those camry that has the same 2.4 motor LOL. when they are brand new it is a lot quicker then most u would throught and hit up speed govenor plenty quickly. :S edit: u know what, i did drove a few rsx, base and type-S, the drive by wire SUCK :-*, well not entierly but i guess the computer takes time to learn a new driving habit, coz everytime when i take it out for a drive the thottle tends to "stick" for a liek a split second when i let off the thottle. It would run fine after i drove it for coupler hours or so :S |
Re: 2006 Honda civic
You can check customers' incidents by going to Edmunds.com, click on forums, then choose your vehicle. Take a test drive and dont commit to anything while you are still shopping around. I think you cant go wrong.

Re: 2006 Honda civic
ugly, slow, etc...
tC less ugly, slow... etc if you want a commuter car go for it. i laugh when you say they are beasts. 17 seconds hooooooo |

DBW must suck so bad that, honda decided to put it in their flagship sports car s2000 in the 06 models as standard.

Re: 2006 Honda civic
06 civic - 140hp/128lbs torque------2580lbs
06 tc - 160hp/162lbs torque------29xxlbs. -------------------------------------------------------------- tc weigh 400lbs over the civic but only got 20hp/30lbs torque more to carry it. but you're too ignorant to recognized that fact. OMG IT GOT 20 HP MORE!! IT HAS TO BE BETTER. oh wait. did i mention that the civic dyno that it readily have 110lbs of torque readily available @ 2500rpm? of course i did, you're just too ignorant to read and understand it. hence the reason why the civic feels so snappy & pulls much harder on the low end. i burn out unintentionally all the time with it. |

Re: 2006 Honda civic
I think the comment "i burn out unintentionally all the time with it."
is just retarted in itself and sends his credibility right out his crank windows Maybe if your car had a radio some speakers power options it might be a little heavier I'm comparing it to an Ex not a Dx different leagues |

learn how to drive...hrm... learn how to drive...let's see. i used to own a z32 and never once chirps wheels unintentionally. i also own a 90 supra turbo with close to 300rwhp (intake, 3" turbo back exhaust, fuel pressure regulator, MBC, 60-1 clipped turbo, 19psi) consider that i could go sideways from second gear just from the gas pedal...i never burn out unintentionally with it. |
Re: 2006 Honda civic
Cheap cars come with cheap tires no matter if htey are new or not I'm done arguing
|
Re: 2006 Honda civic
stop hating coz none of u can even afford the Tc or civic :X
:P |
Re: 2006 Honda civic
My friend just got a Scion TC, and i think just about fully loaded it was $15k, and the resale on it will be higher than the civic.

Re: 2006 Honda civic
