2.2 cobalt

Default 2.2 cobalt

I had my cobalt for about a year now, and im looking into more power.....not sure what to do payments are at a low $200 a month and thinking of building the engine up, not sure to go supercharged, turbo or N/A. What do you guys think i should do?

turbo the bitch. just throw a mani, turbo, charge pipes on and then boost straight into the intake. no wastegate or intercooler or management. ***** on warranty mang

Naw, id rather do it right, intercooler tuning ect but still build it myself or have people help since i never turboed before haha, i wonder if the gm 4 banger will hold hahaha dont know gm engines real well

if its the same as the ss supercharged block those things respond to boost pretty damn well. just find yourself some ss pistons for cheap and go to town

yeah one thing i do know the ss and the ls block are the same for the cobalt, just the ss stroke is shorter, what would be a good turbo to run? i dont want to spend alot on this but lol still enough for it to be a good car, and she will be a sleeper, only thing would be lowered, rims and some tint

No body kit what's your problem?

Just read around man, throw whatever turbo you want on it. ----, look what people put on other 2.2L engines and you can safely assume it'd be ok to run on yours as long as redline is similar.

I just don't get it.

there trying to pull the eco tech out of NHRA because they can make over 1000 hp with that block.
