Re:1st boost experience
All I've driven have been RHB5 boosted cars. 1st was an 89 Probe GT, and then the MX-6 GT Turbo that had the same engine but weighed about 100 pounds less. That baby hauled ***. Now I can't wait to finish my T3 boosted D15B2 ED3 project. Honda for life!

Re:1st boost experience
My first boosting experience was in a 95 Gst. WOW i had never felt anything like it. Just how it held you back in your seat and the way the tires would spin like you were driving on ice. It was awesome. Thats what made me wanna do a hmt on my 98 Civic

Re:1st boost experience
Just took a ride in a GST Eclipse the other night. It felt faster than my NON TURBO REX, but I raced him and we nearly lined up. I took him through 1st + 2nd, then he jumped back up when I shifted into 3rd, but then I was off again... so nobody really won that one because of traffic. Once I get my turbo back on, it won't even be close lol.

Re:1st boost experience
I couldn't help but almost dump in my pants the first time I got a taste of boost. It was two summers ago when the company I worked for at the time went down to Arizona. I am from Kansas, so I knew it was going to be a lot more common to see imports out west. Anyways, we went to this shop because I wanted to talk imports with some guys that knew more about motor swaps than I did. When I called on the phone the guy on the other end was like "yeah, come on in, our mechanic has a 92 hatch with B18 and T3/T4 turbo. Once I heard that I was on my way. When we got there, I'd never seen a turboed hatch or heard one before in my life. This one was by no means street legal, it was totally gutted on the inside with roll cage and all, he showed me under the hood and then I said in these exact words, "dude, how much do I pay for a ride in this beast?" He was like "get in, but I am not responsible for anything" I didn't care at all at this time as I crawled over the roll cage getting in. The car had a locked differential so it handled like ----, but he said at 23lbs of boost he was running about 273 horsepower. This was like a dream come true. We got on this straight away and just stopped and this 5.0 mustang went by us wondering why we were just stopped on an open road. He revved it a little, and we peeled all the way through first, he dropped to second, peeled all of second, dropped to third, screeched for a while, then caught traction and I looked to the speedo to see a phat 85 mph right after we caught. We hauled past the 5.0 and I was scared out of my *** it was like a rollercoaster on the road, and I didn't know how to react to this much insanity, it was like an overload. I don't know how much money that guy had in his setup, but I know him being the mechanic and being able to put it on himself probably saved more than a few thousand there. Everyone on here seems like they know about DIY turbos and how the money saving is in doing it yourself. I am now just getting around to putting a turbo on my sohc hatchback, and I know it will be no where near as insane as my first taste, but the first taste I must say might have been the sweetest. Anyways, I've been hooked ever since. Boost is where it's at!!!!
