I see some sweet deals on egay, $650 for eagle rod's with SRP pistons with rings. You'll have to gap your rings for forced incuction or pay $60 extra for them to do it.

Well, I was still running turboedit, but I decided to crank up the boost for a while up to 10 psi... I was pretty hard on it for a while, but eased off some as my motor mounts were in pain. Which is another question I should ask:

Sometimes when I come up to a stop using the tranny to slow it down, I feel it surge some, but it doesn't always do it and it doesn't completely feel like the motor mounts... I was wondering if the tranny could do something similiar to this?

Btw people, I am pretty happy with that old a6... I got it tested to run 0-60 in 6.2 secs, and run the 1/4 mile in 14.1 with no traction hardly at all... I was pleased knowing that the old a6 could pull 13 sec 1/4 miles passes on 10 psi boost.

If somehow I get a large sum of money I'll build up a ZC for high boost but I seriously don't think that's going to happen... I think I'll bring the A6 back to life. again... which is strange.. I don't feel any power loss with the lower compression.
