The only thing I would be concerned about is the tranny. I can't imagine busting through the gears at rev on a stock tranny. I assume even in the water box, you're slipping the clutch still yet to avoid sudden shock to the drivetrain, yes?

Preload the clutch and you should be fine.
Once your on the starting line, pull the e-brake and hold the button in so you can realease it fast. Then just rev to your desired launch RPM (about 7,300rpms in my case), then let the clutch out until the backend of your car starts to "squat" a little bit (practice this at stop lights when your driving to get groceries and you will understand what I mean). Then when you launch just let the e-brake and clutch go at the same time. this will take stress off your drivetrain.
I have been on stock axles since I have been boosted and never broke anything at the track. The only time I broke axles were my sorry attempts to do donuts/cookies, but that was driver error.

2nd gear burnout on a stock tranny, went 13.27 on the bottle that day............
notice how I stradled the water box...........
I was launching at 7500-7800 rpm, 1.85 60 foots on 20x8x14's @ 12 psi.
