by your logic, the ls7 is better because it uses OHV... the gtr doesn't use that technology does it? the ls7 also using sequential fuel injection, the GTR doesn't use that technology. what a pos. the ls7 also uses a dry sump oiling system, man the gtr is such a lame old technology pos. ::) I said that the vr37 is more advanced, because it uses newe technology. I never once said it was a better engine because of them. On one hand, I am slightly impressed that they make 500+hp all motor. but at the same time, the motor is a ------- hulk. 7L. From what I've been reading about the new GTR I'm not impressed at all. To econmical for what its suppose to be. It's like de tuning a Ferarri. Not worth the time

Ehhh...to the ones that keep saying they can't be compared - they were priced in the same range and it was built to compare with a corvette, so you can compare them.
Just because one has turbos, or the other has 7.0l, doesn't matter. They're close in price range and they've been comparing the two from the beginning. Vette is still the best bang for buck. And who said the GTR needs bigger turbos? The corvette doesn't even have any... Two different cars made to compete, they just get their speed in different ways. |
