Re: $2009 Grassroots Motorsports Build
a good buddy of mine does powdercoating on the side (has a massive oven) Struck a deal tonight to do all the suspension on the car and subframe for basically the cost of the powder, my Fuel cell and a cae of beer.
So this weekend I am gonna build something to dolly the car around on with no suspension

Re: $2009 Grassroots Motorsports Build
I will have pics tomorrow.... some updates
Started the wire tuck. I filled 40 holes today with the welder, have another 20 or so to go.
That GPS I found in the car? Traded it today + $80 for a Carbon Fibre Hood (ballin)
Pulled the dash for the wire tuck
powerwashed the engine compartment
Welded the engine mounts , they have 4 tacks ea. from the factory
Went to the wreckers, found the identical car with a D15 Vtec swap and some other goodies.
B&M shifter
Crane sport compact ignition (2 step)
MSD coil
Various trim bits
Free!! the guy accidentially sold the stock hood I asked them to hold on to..so he felt bad
I will post up some pics tomorrow. Things are coming along nicely. My buddy traded a rusted POS S-10 for an automatic 90 EF sedan in good shape.. Gonna put a T25 on it , RRFPR and have some fun\

Is this what you meant J.D? Welded the seams back there too
Buddy of mine picked this up for nothing , Auto , not rotten , but dented up. Going to turbo it until she blows then throw in a D15b we have sitting around with an RB25 turbo
