well when you think about it, air does goe in there. the boundary layer plays its part in this, but its not fast moving air per say.its pretty much just there.

Actually, since the new civic has a MAF (which is a complete pain in the ass, by the way), some intakes do throw off the AFR's. I'm not sure if it's because their MAF housings are no good or what.

Yep. K-pro or ANY other decent standalone has been produced yet. Rumors say that K-pro (or equivelant) will be out this summer. I'll cross my fingers but I won't hold my breath. Besides, I still owe a lot money on my car so I don't wanna dump money into it quite yet. I just found it funny what some people choose to spend their money on.

I guess somewhere in that thread they posted that it netted about 6hp. :S

But it's inaccurate, considering you don't get the full ram air effect on a dyno that you do on the street.

You might get more of a ram air effect depending on how the blower fan is pointed too. Ram airs probably need a whole wind tunnel to get the full effect.
