Lying isn't always good. Just tell the truth and since it is your first ticket they usually go easy on you. Maybey. Don't back talk and say yes sir, no sir. And when you leave no matter what happens always thank the Judge because you might be seeing him again and the last thing you want him to remember you as is an ***.

they will usually only do it once (more times with a lawyer), it's called a continuance, but the point of it is to give you time to hire a lawyer. if you get a lawyer, he can get the court date continued as long as you want (i've had some continued up to a year). i think if you are that worried about it, you should get a lawyer. he can keep continuing it, and you can pay him payments, it would prolly cost around 2-300 bucks, but, that's less than you would spend if it went on your insurance. also, if this is your first ticket, you can ask for a "prayer for judement" also known as a "pjc". this way, you won't get charged for the ticket, but if you get in any kind of similar trouble within 3 years, you will get charged with the ticket, and what you just got in trouble for. i hope this helps. email or im me if you have any questions, unfortunately, i've been dealing with the legal system for a long time

i was watching a documentary type thing on TV a few years back and this guy was saying like

Ask to see the cop's current Certificate for using a radar(?)

and just hope that his certificate is expired or he cant find it.

And there are Radar guns that can track multiple cars + get readings whether they are in front or in back of you.

I suppose that would mean that you can ask what type of gun he used and do a research to see if it is capable of tagging you from whatever he says he got you from.

My cousin contested a speeding ticket like that and he thought he would get out of it couse the cop had no radar gun to prove how fast he was going.Turns out the Highway patroll teaches/certifies cops so that they can tell how fast a car is going by looking at the background.I couldnt believe it he could tell how fast a car was going by just looking at it in contrast to the background

Did the officer ask you if you wanted to see the radar ,to show how fast you were going and did he say when the radar was last calibrated. Try and find out when the radar was last calibrated ,if it hasn't been done in a certain amt of time then they can't prove its accuracy. So the cop just pulled up behind you at the stop light without turning on his lights then you go into MC's and all of a sudden he flashes you. Something about that doesn't sound right to me. I had my fair share of the legal system but luckily the cops here are not that bad exspecially the bike cops. Hope it works good for ya i will ck with one of the cops when he drops by the shop
