i found an engine today its code zc and ecu code is p70 and its vtec ., and i looked at the intake manifold its code is p08

its like the d16z6 in the shap. any info about turbooing this engine will be thanks.,

and does the vitaras pistons can be install in it ?

 

I am gonna go out on limb and say search.
this is my first time as a member on this or any other forum to tell someone to search, but I could not resist. its a very dumb question. any honda can be boosted. and also they have 2 version of the zc, dohc none vtec, and sohc vtec, and euro version the dohc d16a9.

i searched and found that this zc has no oil pressure sensor reading. what does it mean ? and is this sensor important to turbo project ?

 

please clarify what you mean by no oil pressure reading, did you test the motor and it has no oil pressure?

 

he means that they dont come with a VTEC pressure switch...so the ECU wont look for it...

 

as i told you the zc sohc vtec dont has oil pressure sensor reading.

so my question is what does this sensor do ? and is it important to the turbo ?
