Default ZC Cam timing - troubleshooting

My zc doesnt look like most the pics as far as the marks on the crank pull go.

i have a ground of 3 lines real close together and a group of 2 lines real close abuot 2 inches to the right. the cluster of 3 lines has a red one in the middle, surounded by 2 whites, the pair of 2 lines has a dark white line and a light white line.

i turned the motor over till the timing belt side piston (1) just reached the top of its stroke, and it was pointing at the dark white line in the pair of 2 lines. this is TDC right?

i wana make sure i got timing correct befor i ---- around with the tune and such cuz its runnin real shity

its also got stage 4 aem cams i was told to set exh cam 1 tooth advanced, so i moved it 1 tooth tworsd the back of the car (seemed wierd, i though twords the front was advanced but my friend said otherwise.)

and i doin this ---- right? is the engine at TDC when the piston just reaches the point where it stops at the top?

Car does not run ANY different NO MATTER WHICH Plug wire i unhook! it makes no scence to me.
