hey Mz3bo , let me know what size u use for the oil/coolant and oil drainage fittings.....im using the same turbo but dont know what fitting would match....thanks a lot =)

yeah... I've been there.. every 280zx in every yard still has the turbo just about! Madness! I want to know the trick!

secret: Get the yards engine picker.

lower the chain around fuel injection... Wrap around all the 10000 hoses. raise it breaking everything,

lower again wrap aroun intake manifold... raise till car lifts of stands.

get several large friends to jump on the raised car. til manifold cracks and bends a bit.

un bolt turbo off manifold,

unbolt the downpipe,

then unbolt the oil lines...


and bam 2 hours later your done...

well thats how we did it after 4 hours of trying to get intake mani off.


PS: make sure this is in a big ard where the staff wont see you doin this. at my yard they wont really care anyhow ...

also they have a 2 var map sensor on the 280ZX i think cause mine was when i got it
