Convert to obd1, lose the v-afc and get chrome or uberdata, chip your ecu then find someone to tune on dyno. Safest cheapest way to go! :)

Sounds like you don't need advice. You've got it all figured out. ::)

at least ditch the FMU and just use a set of 450 cc dsm injectors with your afc, its called the afc hack, you hook up the afc exactly the same as you would otherwise, and throw in a set of big injectors, and dont even use the fmu, then hook up a wideband and lean the big injectors out for idle and cruising to like 14-15:1 and then get them set so you run like 11-12:1 in boost, this will also require a bit of leaning them out, just not as much as in vaccum, you are better off to do this than to run an FMU,AFC, and stock injectors, however, if you want it to be right its gonna have to be widenband tuned (the afc) but really for the afc to do anything good the way you were gonna set it up, it would need wideband tuned anyway, but using an afc with an fmu and stock injectors is pretty much worthless if you ask me..... :y

sell your fmu and afc and you'll have enough money to buy a chipped ecu and some 450s :6

i got 2 sets of 450's and i dont wanna run them the run too rich. i got 00 gsr injectors in there now with my fmu and vafc. it works but i need a good tuning day this spring. i started my y8 build up today and ill update it later on this winter.

of course the 450s are going to run rich, you need to tune them. Once tuned there gonna be able to support the fuel needs better then those GSR ones, because im pretty sure those GSR injectors are just 240cc like the ones in the D series.
