SSAC's quality, and customer service, is all over the place. I've seen a general trend of turbos being better, but have seen recent turbo failures also. The BOV/misc stuff is alright. The cheap TiAL knockoff wastegate diaphragms worry me, as they do sometimes fail, but there are a lot of peope getting away with them. I've never seen one of their HKS wastegate imitations that didn't have problems seating.

Avoid their turbo manifolds for Honduhs. I have no experience with the D-stuff, as one poster said they worked well, but the B-stuff cracks and sometimes boost spikes, and the H-stuff boost spikes. Given the fluency of cheap D-manifolds on here, I'd avoid SSAC D-manis too.

A friend bought a manifold/T70 combo for his H22. Well, there's no place to bolt the alternator now. He searches around a bit, is annoyed to find out that a lot of the H22 guys relocate their alternators, but figures it's part of the game you have to play + sets out to do so. Only there's no room down low to mount the H22 alternator, or a D-series one either. Yet, this manifold/turbo were sold by SSAC as a combo, for an H22, that fits and works great!!1.

90DX, can you post up pics of that SSAC intake manifold? He might just be outsourcing the Skank2/Blox/etc manufacturer. Which means it is alright to buy. Maybe.

I was also thinking just a cheap Log Manifold but everything find is in the 280-350 range. Anyone know of a company that makes cheaper Log Manifolds for a B Series motor.

I have seen their intake manifold for hte h22, its horribly designed on the outside it looks like a decent manifold, but when you look inside its just an aluminum box with 4 runners unevenly sticking thorough it with no smoothed edges at all, prolly worse then a stock intake manifold, well this is all based on the one I saw, I just dont see how people keep supporting this company after all the bad ---- that went down and all of their smart *** replies to customoers....

Yup, and I have a Skank2 LS intake manifold here to compare his pics to. Hopefully he can get good, high res pics of the inside of the plenum, with no TB, as that's the clincher.
