My only question is why people waste their money on a Intake Manifold. When Dyno sheets have shown losing a ---- ton of power down low.

I still have a New AEBS Intake Manifold sitting in a box for 90 bucks if anyone seriously wants to waste the money to upgrade to it.

Yeah dude I am trying to Turbo the Hatch. Forgot someone local was probably on this board but I know you can kinda keep it on the Low Low.

dont want to lose low end torque you get a properly ported stock manifold proven

What's wrong with that? It's what I'd expect from an intake manifold designed to move torque peak higher, so you can sidestep knock limit.

Caraudiophile- What does the AEBS manifold fit?
I really am not concerned with low end torque.I drive a sub 2000lb fwd car so low end torque does not really benifit me in anyway other than maybe doing somkeshows.

AEBS Fits a B16 - B18C5

I cleaned up the edges of it and made the ports match the Hondata Gasket but I put the Gasket in and Never installed the Manifold due to the fact it would of slowed me down because I really wasn't making that much power. I had a Skunk2 also and sold it and they look almost identical.

Its not that I think Manifolds are junk and a waste of time its just that I see money could be spent elsewhere. Its like these Kids that go out and get the Basic H/I/E then think the Next step is putting some JE Big *** Manifold on the car and slowing it down. I know I wasted money in not needed parts like my Fuel Rail but it made the N20 Install easier and gave me a place to put the Fuel Guage.

Thanks for keeping it on the Low Man.

I agree. Some motors like the LS really benifit from a aftermarket manifold as the stock one is a low rpm non performance oriented.I have seen kids putting a Edelbrock Victor X on a relatively stock NA car and your right it kills power/driveability and probably slow them down if anything.

Cool I was wondering how the design compared.I have actually sold that manifold as I bought a vtec head so I know had no use for it.
