whats up just have a quick question(not really), i am in the process of boosting my crx, all i have left is the injectors to be put in, and my ecu is currently being chipped. well me being an idiot, and stubborn as hell, i set the entire turbo up, as if i were boosting. the wastegate was set at 2psi, i had all the charge pipes ran and it was actually blowing off and everything after moding the BOV spring by cutting it. anyways long story short, still my inpatience got the best of me, and so i adjusted the wastegate to 8psi and, i figured it wouldnt hold enough boost to hurt anything, which i dont believe it did, but while driving it still wasnt pulling it kinda ran normal and when i would drive when it would get to like 3psi it would leak out real loud, so the point of this hole stupid, post is that when i get my injectors in and my ecu back, if my motor does shoot the bucket, will it actually pull hard. my guess was the reason it wasnt pulling was because there was not an accurate air/fuel mixture. but as you can see, i am stubborn and stupid. but dont flame too hard its a fairly simple question, i just probably made it sound complex.

Are you saying that you cut your bov spring to lower boost? And are wondering if it will hold 8psi when you put your injectors and ecu in. Wait, i'm starting to confuse myself.

1) WTF is 3psi gonna do? You going to cruise night or something to get your *** rammed? Give yourself a minute to do it right, or end up blowing up something important because you couldn't wait the extra 10 minutes.

2) WTF do you think is going to happen without the right injectors or ecu in the car?

3) You modified your wastegate and bov to accomplish all this nothing?

no one cuts a bov spring ppl crush them for a reason TO HOLD MORE BOOST

No I'm pretty sure he said he already turned it up to 8psi. Which would be very bad with no injectors or managment. Just wait till you have all your parts man, that ------- motor must be soooooo hot after running it like that.

yea i know it was stupid, but this motor is my learning motor, i did everything and was just learning things the easy way and the hard way, so get fucked. im not a dumb *** i just do stupid ----. here is the setup by the way, i attempted to wrap the hf, but it turned out pretty damn gay. check it

Of coarse your not gonna make any power if your not injecting enough fuel to do so. How in the ---- to you exspect to make 180hp if you only have enough fuel for 90hp? Your lucky you did break a ringland or burn up an valve from retartedly high EGT.
