It'll work, but don't expect much more than like 250whp.

dont listen to this guy lol. .42 .48 is gay for a gsr. u mite as well use the one u have since u already have it but ur gonna get bored cuz anything above like 5-6k mite feel like nothing. it'll be a lil torque monster but that's bout it. gsr's like t3/t4's any trim.

What he said!
i have a wrx... no top end and plenty of lag. You might have a little less lag due to higher compression but a gsr would suffer big time top end

im running it on my y7/y8. it is a quick spool torque monster but for your bigger motor you'll want a t3/t4 of some trim. no comment on the top end of the wrx, im still running the internal gate at 7psi.

this is HMT man, we dont buy turbo kits here. just stick around, read the faq's, search around alot, look at the setup's in the "Turbo Projects" part of the menu bar... trust me after a good amount of reading and researching you'll be happier you pieced together your own kit.. you'll gain knowledge, save money, and have better quality parts in the long run

WRX turbo and .42/.48 are about the exact same thing.
